Bishop Dr. Samuel Mbithi Kathitta is a dedicated minister of the Word of God and former General Overseer (G.O) of the all Full Gospel Churches of Kenya (F.G.C.K). He has a vast experience in church administration having served as the General Secretary of the FGCK for 12 years and  G.O for 5 years. He has travelled to several continent to preach the Gospel of Christ Jesus

The strong believer and crusader of Bible was born in 1952 in Machakos County. He is teacher by profession, before becoming a full time minister he taught in several primary schools in Ukambani region. Bishop is holder  of PhD in Bible theology from Southern Bible Institute and Seminary USA. on the same note, He is also holder of honorary degree in Leadership.

He started full time ministry in the Year 1988 at Mwingi town where he  pioneered  Full gospel churches of Kenya (FGCK) in that region. He Planted over 100 branches of the FGCK in Kitui county. He rose from Senior Pastor to District Overseer for Kitui Church District in the year 2000. Later in 2001 he was elected as the Regional Secretary of Central Kenya Region and served with great humility for  2 years.  Bishop was elevated to the office of the General Secretary of FGCK under Bishop Dr. Muriithi Njogu where he served for 12 years since 2003. He was elected as the General Overseer in the Year 2015. Bishop dedicated his precious time in serving God as the G.O and retired on the year 2021 having served for 7 Years.

So far I have served as a Minister of the Gospel for the last 33 years. Currently after retiring from active church leadership, I have remained to be the overseer of Mwingi town FGCK and Matuu FGCK and above all, an advisor to pastors and bishops
